a lot of these songs will end up being the biggest songs of Ye's career as the years go on
Jail
hurricane
24
No Child left behind
It's only inferior to Yeezus, 808's and MBDTF because the full thing isn't as cohesive.
But its at the same level as Pablo, Graduation, Dropout etc.
Kanye entered the new 20's with a classic.
was Yeezus even cohesive though
was Yeezus even cohesive though
i think so
y do u think it might not b
Its his best album since MBDTF & Yeezus. Its top 3 in my books
Top 3 or 4 but I wouldn’t include Yeezus in this.
was Yeezus even cohesive though
Imagine not realizing how cohesive Yeezus is in the year 2022
Couldn’t be me
I agree, Donda is a great album. I think it's his best album since MBDTF.
Minus the filler I can agree wit this.
The top 12-14 songs of Donda are really GOOD

Off the grid, praise god, moon, jesus lord, pure souls, and come to life as well
And life of the party on deluxe
All elite kanye tracks

I'm appreciating Donda more and more as I listen to it, and I already liked it on release.
I'm at the point where I know he's not going to drop some perfectly crafted classic to appease the critics and naysayers, and I'm cool with that. He's carving his own thing and still staying relevant after all these years.
And I love tracks like 24 and Jesus Lord and Come to Life. Jail, Off The Grid, Praise God, Lord I Need You, God Breathed, etc. Just so many good tracks.
The only changes I can see that would have benefitted the album would be cutting out the Pt. 2's (which are unnecessary as hell) and putting Daylight in. God I f***ing love Daylight.
and also removing Junya and Remote Control

factual
Jail sounds like it came from MBDTF or 808s its a top ye track

Jail literally gave me goosebumps during the first listening event
Futuristic2020PrinceMichaelJackson vibes
I created my own playlist of just the best songs and versions between the original and deluxe and it's still 20 songs on there
there's not as much "filler" as some would like to say imo
