This is the general consensus I've seen among Dragonball fans.

Either Gohan defeating Cell or Goku defeating Frieza would've been the best ways to end the series and cement it as an elite Battle Shonen.

I feel like GT and Super take Dragonball down a couple of notches. GT was just trash all around outside of Majuub, Piccolo's sacrifice and SSJ4. Super's storylines are overhated (The story has been good at worst since the Future Trunks arc), but the animation was consistently either trash or inconsistent before the Tournament of Power.

Super's animation, pre-TOP, and the art style as well, just make the series look vastly inferior to what you see from Demon Slayer, My Hero Academia, Attack on Titan, etc. and holds the series back from really shining the way it should.

I think so if u a fan of the series. Bebi arc is pretty good and it’s only 64 episodes total anyway not a huge thing to get through

Gohan is my favorite character in the series, and even I'm fine if he never becomes MC. I would like for him to comfortably remain one of the top 5 strongest protagonists though, so hopefully they keep him on the right track from now on.

I liked how they handled Ultra Instinct a lot more than the Anime did. That was very smart tying all of Goku's previous Senseis into his mastering of Ultra Instinct.

It made it look far less of an asspull or shoe horned transformation.

Bullshit. They rushed UI and iirc it was fleshed out in literally over 2 chapters then peaked.

The anime put a myriad of lore behind it and while it may seem like an asspull, still had historical context and build up for nearly 30 episodes just IN THAT ARC.
