the potential is there lol if they do everyone like akira battle angel just a little more realistic
nah dbz is just too steeped in chinese & japanese culture to ever work as a Hollywood film. they'd have to cast an asian cast or else wouldn't be right.

idk man, they'd have to do an extremely loose adaptation in order for it to work. The costume designs, the dragons, the Journey to the West story elements etc. just don't translate well as an American movie and if anything just the idea of trying to adapting it as an American movie seems disrespectful.
Alita: Battle Angel and Speed Racer worked because they didn't have to make any changes to the source material. DBZ is just too asian and we should all just accept it. Matrix Revolutions and Man of Steel are your live action DBZ movies, just leave it at that tbh

Mar 8, 2021I don’t think they would be able to create a decent story for a live action film, plus fit it in 2 hrs I feel MCU and Justice league showed us there’s too much money and names and rewrites for these joints to have something that’ll surpass the anime
