Yeah its obvious Drake is scared. He got us all hyped on The Rap Radar interview talkinga bout how this year was going to be his year. I expected some 2018 level features but we haven't got anything on that level yet.... Oprah's Bank Account flopped. Dark Lane Demo Tapes failed to spawn a single hit... The Dj Khaled singles underperformed. LNCL isn't keeping Drake in the conversation as it should... The popcaan features flopped. The Bryston Tiller feature and 21 savage feature will inevitably flop....
This year has been mediocre for him. I think he's genuinely strategizing a new rollout. If he dropped this week it would be forgettable. He still has enough popularity to debut at #1 with a great single but he's not providing the quality this year
COVID has totally killed the lifespan of music right now. Because there is no momentum built in the songs performing in clubs or venues, the music dries up quickly.
It's crazy to see that even Drake can't seem to beat it.

I think most songs aren’t doing what they usually do because people can’t do what they usually do, due to covid. Can’t listen to any of these tracks in the club or out with pals/significant other. I don’t think the quality of the features (most of them) are mid, just the situation we’re in.

Many of you come off as spoiled brats.
I don't know any other mainstream rapper who has given their fans as much music as Drake has in the past 11 years or anyone who has remained consistent with the success of the work to the point where fans can constantly be proud to celebrate them like Drake has.
Drake doesn't drop an album in the summer like he said he would (something he has done numerous times in the past) and we get some very idiotic posts from some whiny b****es crying for him to release the album already. How about you shut up and wait for the music to drop because, I don't know, THAT'S THE ONLY F***ING OPTION YOU HAVE?
It's not enough that this man has dropped 23 songs this year or that he dropped songs last year as well.
Many of you are just ungrateful and spoiled. I wish he took 3/4 year breaks without giving some of you anything so y'all would see how good y'all have it compared to fans of other artists.

You're telling the harsh truth. A lot of people in here are too blind and will happily accept a 2013 drake album rollout considering it's 99% more successful than anyone else today. But Drake is Drake. This album rollout not looking pretty.
Ideally he waits till next summer.
