Starting to scratch my neck for that new Alc project

I want a HAPPY Earl Sweatshirt album.
We have angry Earl, frustrated Earl, antagonistic Earl, exhausted Earl, defeated Earl, depressed Earl, I want HAPPY Earl.
Hook of with Tyler and make EarlWolf, but just have Tyler produce and make songs about appreciating that you’re still alive or something, idk.
I just want to hear this man HAPPY for once

everything about this idea is so goofy

not in like a fun way though (no shade to my goofy people)

Why? I want to see Earl in a better place, despite our differences, and I think him switching it up and giving us the SRS/slums influenced style but with a different type of production and content would be a perfect mixture of freshness to keep things interesting and the classic Earl formula.

framing like you want a "happy album" from an artist is just nasty

& earl/tyler have grown in such different directions for such a long time it just looks weird to me any time people want them to drop a project together just feels very stuck in 10 years ago

I’m not really an Earl stan anymore but I still like his music a lot.

Idk why wanting someone to be in a better place and reflect it through their music is nasty. I could understand if it was wanting them in a worse place, but being in a better place is only good for everyone

it's not how you worded it though & you've established you're not really paying attention with his music so nvm this is kinda pointless

I still listen to every release right when it comes out, but unless it grabs me I don’t spin it often.
Just because I don’t get the intended vibe or the same vibe as you from a song doesn’t mean I’m “not really paying attention”
