Finished ARR a couple days ago and spent all day yesterday farming the books for the zodiac relic for White Mage. That s*** was brain-numbing.

P8S on PF is a nightmare. Only seen P2 once ... I know the mechs but the fight is still so tight. I can have 630 group but if we have a few deaths we wont get past the dps check... Imagine doing this before the nerf. This was supposed to be a 610 fight. No wonder the raiding scene seems dead rn.

I don't think the raiding scene is dead you're just kinda late to the party tbh. Seems like most people who are interested in raiding already cleared it and are doing TOP right now.

Also are you DC traveling to find parties? Idk about EU but on NA you kind of have to go to aether to do hardcore content nowadays.

I forgot how busy and meticulous the skills are in FFXIV I been mostly playing Lost Ark for the last year as far as mmo's go, so coming back to this, the transition is rough

I was primarily progressing through the msq as a Tank(Gunblade), but also tried to keep Samurai class around the same level for dps. Apparently I went Red Mage for a bit, but its only level 52, I dont even remember unlocking the job

I dont remember what people do to level alt jobs i cant do any msqs on Red Mage since its level is too low

I'm just starting to remember I customized the f*** outta my UI when I was playing. Did all that invisible bars/macros etc, but I have no clue how any of it works now

Took me like 15 minutes to figure out where i put my job bar tab

Every time I take a short break it feels like I've forgotten a lot, I can't imagine having to get used to everything again after 2 years

Red Mage starts at level 50 so it makes sense that you don't remember it

Well think it has gotten better this week and I get past P8S P1 very consistently.
Doing P2 Prog now and got past HC1. I believe i will clear in a few weeks or a month.
I am in EU and it's getting crowded again but the Tuesday on reclears i had to wait an more than an a hour to fill the group... Yery unusual for me.

The drama around ultimates is so entertaining to watch, something happens with every ultimate release

I don't normally care if other people use cheaty s*** in raids since it's PvE but for the world race it seems like an unfair advantage

XIVQuickLauncher is the main one; it comes with Dalamud

I heard that you can triple weave by modifying the code in XIVAlexander or by just having really insane connection. I wouldn't do it personally since a lot of people will just assume you are cheating

what are your thoughts on triggers? I thought it was controversial but after the zoom hack drama it seems like everybody is fine with it. is it the norm in high end groups?
