After putting adequate hours into DMC 5, they did the smartest thing hiring the combat director for their game. FF16 bouta be f***in amazing

As great as that sounds, yeah…the climate is just different now. A lot of JRPG fans don’t realize how hard of a sell it is.

I think they could do a MH-Rise type thing where they make a less expensive AAA game for Nintendo consoles. It wouldn’t quite have XVI-level production values but it could scratch the itch of a mainline turn based FF

I’d assume IX remake is gonna retain the turned based elements, so there is that.

Been a lifelong fan and it's the most hyped (and confident) I've been since XII.

Feel like given the previews and hints dropped by reviewers, this is an 88 game minimum.

I do hope that it’s a more consistent, and better paced, game than 7 Remake.

Also, please, for the love God, have better side quests.

Takai said 50 hours but that stuff is always juiced a bit by devs so probably 35-40.
