That cinematic playing after literally every perfect dodge is something
That cinematic playing after literally every perfect dodge is something
Imma be honest, I think it looks like garbage
The overuse of dodges and slow-downs are one of my biggest complaints so far. We have seen the slowdowns in all the footage but this is probably the biggest offender. This specific footage isn't good in general, youtube compression sucks and i'm not sure what is going on with the audio mixing in this video

It's a different dodge that is contextual just like Shiva's and Bahamut's. This one is aspected to Ifrit (you can tell because Clive gets a fire buff). It's pretty obvious because other Precision Dodges did not slow down. This is probably something like Back + Dodge instead of just Dodge.
Shiva's freezes enemies, Bahamut's is related to Megaflare, and we've seen a Garuda one too. This Ifrit one looks like it increases damage for a limited time after using it and also augments your spell to be shot in 3 round bursts.
tldr: it looks like a skill you use manually via an input rather than it just being every Precision Dodge.

Lol I thought I was tweaking

Worst showing the games had tbh I still believe in its quality but they could’ve shown the benedikta fight again and it would have been more interesting

That sounds better. No idea why they thought it looked good here though.
Takai said 50 hours but that stuff is always juiced a bit by devs so probably 35-40.
That’s a long ass game, but I believe it if it’s really been in production for 7 years. Just sounds odd you age up that quickly in the game since the scenes we saw had him at all the different ages.

IGN players tryna get that damage off
I'm trying to finish up FFX before this is released. It's such a contrast. X is colorful, and bright, the characters are endearing. and funny. XVI gives off vibes like XII, Type-0, VIII. Like great games but they were dark and they were not nearly as popular as the colorful titles.
It’s gonna be a rough couple of weeks waiting for this game So many people hoping it fails. I’m excited for the demo

super rich devs with nothing but fake fans
That cinematic playing after literally every perfect dodge is something
but they really only got one dodging animation don't they
Wonder if the game visually becomes more wild than we’re being led to believe
If basically every other mainline FF is something to go off of, s*** is definitely gonna get crazy in that last act
I kinda wish they did one of those CGI trailers like they did with the XIV Expansions and XV

We've seen like 6 different perfect dodge animations so nah lol
I’m joking . I just want to enjoy this . It’s funny seeing the range of hype on this
