Hey guys I just started playing this after remake and it’s very good so far. Just wanted to know one thing.

Lots of people online don’t like the story for Rebirth. Is there a particular reason for that?

Please don’t spoil but I just wanted to know why some hate it with a vengeance

everything i’ve gathered is because it makes it too “convoluted” like kingdom hearts esque almost. imo i think it was a dope story but i don’t really judge games based on reviews, if you like the ff7 story up to this point i’m sure you’ll like this one as well

I never played the original. I’ve only played the Remake part 1 and Crisis Core (for obvious reasons). Maybe that won’t make me not like it I guess?

You’ll probably only feel a certain way if you played the original and had an attachment to it. People only dislike how much this one deviated from a particular scene. Everything else has and will remain the same for the most part.

Okay well that's no problem for me then. I have no clue what happened in the original. I did play Crisis Core though and thats giving a bit of a hint towards the "introduction" of the game if you know what I mean.

Airship will be fully flyable in next game. They already kinda said it was the idea but good to hear it confirmed. Concept and everything for the game is done too. Guess we'll see how long it takes to develop.

The airship has a deck area and should be huge inside for the party to walk around in like the OG. Also should be able land mostly anywhere somehow if iirc. It should look way better than this.

Agreed. This was absolute fire the whole way through. And I can say that about very few games.

Don’t think I could ever go back to Remake after this one tbh, and Remake I was already a little mixed on.

Will probably save a replay around the time 3 drops.
