    Yeah same as op

Actually I probably played ME trilogy before Red Dead so that one. All the companions felt so relatable and the story is simply unforgettable

What're some games where the story/gameplay/atmosphere/graphics etc. in it absolutely blew you away? Games where you finished it and laid awake for days not able to sleep because a story/ending/gameplay/atmosphere was just so fascinating/interesting/terrifying/unexpected.

For me personally it was def Red Dead Redemption. The emptiness I felt after Johns Death Paired with these mysterious side missions (strange man + this cannibal) and the tense soundtrack made me

Remember trippin later that night after I finished wit the mysterious smoking man quest

MGS4, Fallout 3 and Red Dead 1 really had me craving more likewise experiences.

But I think it started with God of War 2 and a bit later GTA 4.

  • First ever one was Bioshock for me

    Mass Effect 2

    Wind Waker
Played it & finished it when I was like 11/12 back when it came out
Up until then, I mostly played like FPS and sports games
This was the first game that truly made me care about the story and the characters, and the visual style is a masterpiece even today
The first game that was a legit piece of art for me
To this day, still my favorite game OAT and the biggest reason I love the Zelda franchise and have played almost all of the Zelda games

Idek. Maybe Seiken Densetsu 3. First game I ever played on SNES that had a day/night system, along with days of the week.

Chrono Trigger possibly as well. First game I played where equipping different weapons would slightly change appearances and animations for certain attacks.
