Exactly my central point is regardless of Ye drawing antisemitic conclusions or not what some people have done to him is wrong. Leaking that he got mental help is wrong. He has clearly held a grudge since that diagnosis. Is the Doctor wrong? I don't know he should see a black doctor he trust . Ye should have called out the human beings not the fact that they are Jewish but him making or connecting to absurd conspiracy theories makes sense when he feels he has lost everything.

even if we are to take the percentage of lawyers at face value though at 30%, similarly in 2018 surveys showed almost 20% of doctors (+/- more given unknowns) were asian. there are only about an estimated 2x asian-americans than there are jews in the US. is this worth calling asians out on?

I think a more apt thing to say would be based on relation to population it would be good to have more black lawyers and judges that look like us. This overall applies to black lives matter too. If some of the money went towards getting there to be more black lawyers and judges that would feel like it could create more substantive progress. Can we really progress in systems where people don't look like us and they go home to their family that don't look like us ?

I think any rational person can easily acknowledge that the statements are antisemitic and the way he’s gone about a lot of this is probably the absolute worst way to have a dialogue that anyone can take seriously. He makes it virtually impossible to shoot him bail because he can be very purposely inflammatory when there’s ways to have a conversation in there that would be better.

I guess I feel bad for him in ways, like “why Kanye why??” That’s how important an artist he’s been to me over the years. But it wouldn’t be the first time being in this position.

One thing I realized about myself, because Alex Jones is not a part of any impact in my life, when I watched his deposition, it was easy for me to just call it as it is: completely absurd, stupid, and reckless. Whereas with this Kanye stuff, it’s just sad watching Kanye set himself on fire in the worst way possible.

I don’t think Kanye has ever been equipped with the tact, delicacy, patience, or honest hardwork of research to approach these types of subjects in a way that actually is worthwhile. This time it is really going to burn him.

It’s hard to expect his approach to change well into his 40s too. I also try my hardest to not use the “mental health” thing as it doesn’t excuse that a sentiment has been made. I do find him to be extremely paranoid rn tho.

And for the record, as I’ve stated before, there is a conversation to be had between the two communities so you can separate stereotypes from historical context within entertainment. This is something I’ve said on here a few times in more detail. This has been a thing of tension for decades that respectable people have brought forth. It’s just Kanye is the absolute worst person to lead the charge for the obvious reasons.
