What method did you use to learn Spanish??
Lol the method is they send you to language school for a year where you spend 7 hours a day listening reading and speaking that language.
The best way to learn is to be immersed in the language.
Estoy estudiando español en mi escuela. Es muy difícil pero espero que en el futuro será casi fluente.
Español en el año veinte veinte.
No podría ser yo.
Started learning japanese last year since I was living there for most of the year.
Might start learning german cause I'm moving to Germany soon next ;)
I got the most broken spanish ever from working in restaurants for 8 years

Anyone trying to learn multiple languages?
Starting to learn French with Duolingo.
Je m'appelle raz3r. J'aime bien computers.
bonjour raz3r, comment vas-tu? j'aime bien les ordinateurs aussi :) qu'est-ce que tu aimes chez eux?
As a native English speaker I have been wanting to learn Spanish.
Idk the best way to do it and been using that as an excuse to not start... anyone have experience and recommendations?
Start with DuoLingo and anki decks . That should provide a solid foundation and from there you can begin immersion learning
honestly i think knowing to speak more than 2-3 languages is super overrated. i grew up with a multilingual background and you keep forgetting words that you dont use at least on a monthly basis

I personally just want to learn it just so I can possibly converse with more people. Plus, it's fun to see the differences in terms of grammar and overall structure from your native language to another language

Understandable and makes sense. Personally, those are the languages I want to study (along with Korean because I heard great things about their alphabet and how quick it is to pick up).
But understanding different cultures is also incredibly important

i feel it. greek is also a super interesting language, its a very unique language in europe where a lot of languages are rooted in latin.

changing your interface language in games/social media etc really helps

i think the hardest part for native english speakers is how adjectives & verbs change according to gender/number of nouns
I want to learn Russian but Ive heard it's really hard for people with english as their first language

na dann viel glück :)
Yeah I can see that. When most of the scientific papers are written in English and the news cycle all over the world has adapted to your maternal language you're probably not all too motivated to learn another language.
Still funny tho that the U.S., as a country who originally came to be because of immigrants, doesn't incite their people to learn to talk a diversity of languages.
Certain groups of people in the US actually get mad if you speak any language other than “American” in their presence.
