he played Florida, At Your Best and Deathwish
Prob more time on endless total than on Channel orange
whatevs, was a moot point anyway
āI got two versionsā
I agree it makes no sense that he had stark divisions between the projects while working, but I presume the idea of making enough for two albums to get out of the deal was likely there from the get go as well.
For sure
That white Ferrari version Def made me realize how blurred the lines mustāve been at times tho because it was pretty endless-esque
u dab again? cuz this ain't it
I put endless over blonde for a longgg time. maybe still do
good for u!
good for u!
just don't be out here s***ting on albums that you've admitted to not listening to

I SAID THREE TIMES I WAS THERE WATCHING THE APPLE MUSIC STREAM
I SAID THREE TIMES I WAS THERE WATCHING THE APPLE MUSIC STREAM
My fault I just got in here
There would def still be backlash because the experience for people there was definitely not good but the online backlash would definitely be way way less
People would just be running back that heavenly white Ferrari version
yeah youre right, no way he was getting out of this scot free but the majority of people would not be dogpiling on the hatetrain like this. unfortunately online is where the war is won these days, as innuendo said not streaming has come back to bite him in the ass hard imo
Frank brought the discourse vibes back. We needed something to talk about

real
if the lack of merch was due to the stage design and theatrics being axed that flips the whole narrative upside down
For sure

Yeh, I like that comment his engineer made in a tiktok someone posted yesterday: Frank will make many many different versions of songs, or explore a whole host of different ideas for a song before whittling it down to the final one.
when they turned the lights on people were booing and I heard a girl say āIām so mad!ā
also read various youtube comments about people crying on the way back to their campsite
Sounds about white
That ādifferent recording sessionsā thing is not true; itās an assumption made by non creatives
Anyone with a brain can tell that Endless was born from the same sessions as Blond. Frank was able to execute both projects so well that it made them feel very distinct. The structuring of Endless was genius and made it more than the sum of its parts. It stands on its own, but it is made up of things that didnāt make Blond. One way to know that the projects are fluid is that Mitsubishi Sony was supposed to be on Blond. The nostalgic storytelling should be a tip off too.
Not hard to imagine the words of Alabama, Slide On Me, and Comme de GarƧon fitting with the themes on Blond. āSuburbia got a yard all this estate for my mind to runā that part always screamed blond too
Obviously Frank made a s*** ton of music in those 4 years, and I donāt believe there was āblond sessionsā and āendless sessionsā during that until late in the process. Itās much more likely he had a pile of ideas and curated them into two projects
I agree that they were probably made during the same recording sessions, but I think he always knew for the most part which songs would be on Endless and which songs would be on Blonde.
Endless is a lot more formless & experimental whereas Blonde is more structured & airy.
Endless feels like one long stream of consciousness and Blonde is a lot more of a statement piece.
Endless is like a collection of scatterbrained ideas while each song on Blonde feels like a very significant and purposeful vignette of Frankās past.
I think that was very intentional and that Frank had a distinct idea from the get-go of what he wanted each project to be

I wouldnāt dispute that as much, but when people act like Blond and Endless arenāt artistically related itās crazy to me.
But even all that, idk. The whole āgetting out of the dealā thing barely makes sense anyway tbh, there was something more to what happened with him and Def Jam behind the scenes, thereās zero chance that they actually accepted Endless as fulfilling his obligation lol
I think a lot of the narratives surrounding Frank is tainted by redditor fan fiction filling in the blanks
your implication that poc would never is absurd
The Im mad comment was definitely a white girl lol but the crying part could have been anybody
ok feel free to explain to me why the Coachella festival has posted about every single performer other than their closing HEADLINER
Why would I explain something where I literally have no information on it? I donāt make up s*** like yāall I just accept not knowing
thatās literally an assumption
youāre drawing conclusions based on something you dont see
Stupid ass post
