Both are great boss fights. I find it odd that they are so close together. Created a weird dynamics where the second one is easier than the first

Yeah the second one felt easier, but fighting two bosses at once is always annoying. I assume he had way less HP the second round, im just glad I dont have to fight anymore apes (at least I hope so ) But I think Guarding Ape was a cool ass boss fight.

Yeah one of the hardest bosses for sure. I just finished my second playthrough and clear all bosses hirata owl probably took me the most tries overall

The second playthrough must be so satisfying, just speeding thru the early + mid game. Im happy to hear that he is one of the hardest, but I am kinda afraid of what awaits me after this lmao

I’m doing my 3rd playthrough on my steam deck rn, it’s crazy how fast you can speed through the game when you know what you’re doing. I’m around 3 hours in already at the guardian ape fight, no other game feels like Sekiro does when you get in a groove

She just beat Guardian Ape

You just gotta really lock in with the parry system, once it clicks the game has some of the most satisfying combat out there. Just try to think of it like a rhythm game.

Sekiro best FromSoft game no contest

The amount of secrets/dialogue and lore based on world events is CRAZY

Gf found so many f***ing things on her playthrough that I had no idea existed

Sekiro is for sure their most flawless game but idk where I rank them all.

Bloodborne-Elden Ring-Sekiro all tied for first place to me, they all do something special

When bosses recover their posture it makes me feel like I gotta be mad aggressive and I just get wrecked

I'm on Genchiro right now, I was so hype to beat him then he entered another phase after the cutscene

Genichiro is still one of the best boss fights I’ve ever played, once you get him down the game fully clicks.

3rd phase is the easiest once you learn the lighting reversal

And yeah 99% of bosses you need to be ultra aggressive to keep their posture bar up, just try to really learn their move sets so you know when to get in close and start punishing.
