you lost me with this one man. why would Earn set Darius up for the gun charge? Al and Darius wouldn’t even go for that s*** and Earn knows it, they all knew where the gun really came from

Earn has a lot of flaws but he’s not that lowdown to do something like that to Darius. just admit you don’t like him bro lol

So you think earn would of took the charge? I strongly disagree. Earn throwing Darius under the bus if push come to shove.

Love this season. Rich Wigga poor wigga my favorite. Three slaps and Cancer attack up there too. They over did it with that last episode though

Starting to feel like the anthology episodes were just a result of and a solution to schedules clashing lmao

Season was really hit or miss tbh, best episodes were the one without the main crew. Because the characters weren’t developed at all during this season.

""Oh season 3 is coming back. I got to watch seasons 1 and 2 to refresh my memory." And I was like, "No, you don't. You're not going to have to do that at all." And I think that helps the language of the show in a different way when people can just hop in."

But Donald, that's exactly why we watch TV, continuity is important because then you just have a jumbled up mess that starts off as something and then completely becomes a new shows before it even finishes. You sold us Atlanta (Earn, Darius, Al, Van, etc) so give us that lol. Like, imagine if The Godfather turned into a rom-com by the end of the 3rd movie.

This guy is so unbelievably pretentious talking like he's somehow reinvented TV. You just made a trash season bro, get over yourself. Tbh, only someone who claims his show will be mentioned amongst the likes of the GREATEST shows ever could be this delusional.

you mad as s*** over a season of tv and it’s making you post like a dumbass, please calm down you don’t know why “we” watch TV lmfao so speak for yourself and sit tf down with your booty cheek opinions

Stephen Glover just did an interview about season 3 that is a really good read. Really puts in perspective what their goal was for this season . He answered a lot of questions

Really like how open his answers are in the interview

I’m sorry but deciding on the third f***ing season they wanted to make it so ppl can pick up and watch any episode without following one narrative is so stupid

“ I’m like, "Can I just turn on Ozark?" It's like, "No, you got to start at episode one and work your way through all 20 seasons." There's something nice about American Dad where you can just hop into any episode and it's fun. And that was the idea with this season. Season two is more connective, and in order for the ending to make sense, you need to see the beginning. We were like this time let's just have this thing where every episode feels like anybody can come into it.”

And this is exactly why this season wasn’t as good as the other ones

it seems like armie hammer was wanted for that finale cos it didn’t make sense for alexander skarsgard to be a cannibal sexual deviant

No way Armie would ever agree to do that role. Mans career is in shambles because of all that cannibal s***
I believe the original plan was to get Leo to do it tho

O and also the season 3 scripts were written in 2019, before the cannibal allegations

Yeah it’s cool if you wanna do that but to decide to just randomly do it after a season like Season 2 is bound to throw everybody off

I think everybody’s schedules didn’t allow for them to make a cohesive season and given the time constraints and they settled on that idea and I’m running with that

  • May 26, 2022

I've always thought that season 3 was our magnum opus. This is where we did it all. But it's funny, Hiro and Donald have always said season 4 is going to be even better. They're really high on season 4. And I think season 4 is good. Our mantra for that season was just, have more fun. There's definitely some really good episodes. But season 3 in particular, that's the season where the writer's room felt the most... like we've really tapped into something here.

Donald mentioned that Stephen was the more experimental of the 2 of them so it makes sense for him to have this opinion. Makes me think S4 will be fully main cast driven now tho
