Even a better job won’t save you depending on the city. I work in tech and some of my coworkers have to room with strangers or have to take hr and a half plus commutes into the city because of the price of rent

This a funny ass take considering the garbage ass apartments in my area have risen rent dramatically. Those luxury apartments were never an option for many people, so they weren't even considering trying to live some "lifestyle" they saw on social media.
