    I applied to 200+ jobs between Dec and Jan before accepting something

    I know the market for my industry

    Most firms are pushing for people coming back in because remote makes team culture fragmented

    Also I’m in NYC, I’m not gonna take a remote based job somewhere else that pays less. The number of prestigious companies and available positions in lower cost of living markets is low.

    Being in a high cost of living market also benefits your future salary negotiations.
