the internet and piracy made libraries obsolete tbh
I appreciate that the internet made it cost less resources to distribute literature but at the same time, hand-sense connectivity is real and holding a book without worrying about what else it may tempt me to do, like a phone would, makes it so much more enjoyable

So how does using the 3D printer work, do you have to pay to rent it? Or do you just have to supply your own filament?

Nope
Libraries will never be obsolete especially in a class-oriented society. It's literally one of the only things civilization has gotten right lol. Outside of that, public infrastructure, and due process everything else is a damn mess.
Not everyone has quality Internet and access to digital resources to find books they want/need, so pirating books is impractical. Plus a socially-oriented mode of literary consumption is amazing.
Taking libraries for granted will be a critical factor in the downfall of western civilization lol.
We f***ing snapped with that s***. It's on y'all if you don't use them to your advantage.

Usually you have to reserve a time to print (I think most limit like 6 hours) and then they charge like $.03-.$15/g. You can provide the design or have them design it for you. Printer error they comp but design error you comp

nah bro you don’t understand, it’s only a coincidence that all of the greatest men and women in history have had a deep veneration of the classics gained through reading
