i really only do it to lose weight. i exercise twice during the fast so the first time i did it i turned yellow after the 2nd exercise. im use to it now and dont experience that anymore. it sucks at first but after awhile its really pretty easy.
as far as benefits besides losing weight, i do get an energy boost about 18 hours into it. and though you cant really feel it, everything ive read about autophagy makes it seem worthwhile even if you aren't trying to lose weight.
24 hours is enough time for your body to start using its own excess? Don’t you have to ease back into eating the next day so you don’t shock your metabolism and regain whatver you lost since your metabolism has lost momentum?

It’s prob different for everybody but I think it does for me. Especially since I do pretty tough workouts during it.
I’m sure it helps to eat a healthy meal after the fast. Sometimes I eat fruits and veggies after it. Sometimes I eat like crap after. I wanted a Philly cheesesteak so bad after I did it last time so that was my meal after. I’m also counting my calories so not just relying on the fast to lose weight. And my weight does sometimes go back to normal when I weigh myself the next day. But that’s just normal it goes up and down I think it’s more important that it’s trending down over a period of time and not necessarily the day to day changes

Just finished 48 hours time to EAT
I will definitely say my body feels “cleaner” and was definitely worth it cause now IF is gonna be a cake walk

Moved into my new apartment on the 5th
Moving is extremely difficult for me due to health issues I'm currently struggling with so I was extremely overwhelmed
Ate something each day of that weekend but I think I cracked at some point and let go of eating for the next three+ days

you might around day 3 if you’ve never done it before or go cold turkey with just water.

intermittent. gonna do a 24hr fast next I think. intend to build up to multiple days
on hour 18 rn
gonna hit the sauna after work too and then prolly break it around hour 21-22
maybe later this week aim for 24hr+
slow and steady
hour 20 rn. going to the sauna after work again. if I decide to break it when I get home tonight it'll be around 30hrs, my first full day+
but depending on how I feel I might just keep it pushing thru the night and aim for 48hrs+
