how does multi day fasting with water feel compared Vs fasting for Ramadan? Never intentionally fasted only water for more than maybe 2 days I think

I'm not a Muslim so I've never fasted for Ramadan so what I'm about to say is going to involve a lot of conjecture and second hand understanding from the experiences of friends that are Muslim but I believe some of the key differences to highlight in comparing the two are:
The length of time you'd be without food:
If I was fasting for Ramadan right now the longest I'd go without food is about 12 hours (this would be different depending on where you live and the time of year Ramadan is occuring as sun up to sun down is variable) vs 72 hours in my three day fasts
Water:
In the fasts I undertook I could have water whenever I wanted it but if you are fasting for Ramadan you're going sun up to sun down without water
Rhythm:
There's a built in rhythm to fasting for Ramadan when you consider that it's always sun up to sun down, a month long, happens every year as part of one of the most important components of your life - Islam
There's nothing comparable to this in the fasting I undertook, at least nothing that's intrinsic to the practice
Faith/Spirituality:
The version of fasting I undertook can be Incorporated into any faith or spirituality I assume but I can only imagine how powerful an undertaking of faith fasting for Ramadan must be and how that must be amplified by being part of such a large community committing to that practice all at the same time
Fasted for around 48hrs few weeks ago while consuming only liquids with electrolytes. Definitely feel like I lost a few pounds ahah
I kinda wanted to try this to see how it went. I heard you are supposed to do it a specific way and not just stop eating though.
i do a 24 hour fast every monday. might try a 48 hr to see what its like
Elaborate on why and how it helps you
Id appreciate it

i really only do it to lose weight. i exercise twice during the fast so the first time i did it i turned yellow after the 2nd exercise. im use to it now and dont experience that anymore. it sucks at first but after awhile its really pretty easy.
as far as benefits besides losing weight, i do get an energy boost about 18 hours into it. and though you cant really feel it, everything ive read about autophagy makes it seem worthwhile even if you aren't trying to lose weight.
