Kr0n slapping mfs left & right with the financial literacy on the 1st page, what’s new nephew? @Kr0niic
Because the crazy amount of debt racked up. You think financial education is easy as everyone says but the reality is that it isn't
Schools don’t really teach credit cards but you can google some good articles on how to use them
To the people saying credit unions — credit unions are super dope and I love mine. They have the best car loan and mortgage rates and also amazing interest on savings accounts.
That being said, they are not even remotely CLOSE to the best option for a credit card unless you already know you’re gonna f*** up and not pay off your balance and incur interest lol. Credit cards are the one instance where a big bank/company like Chase or AMEX will give you WAY more value than a credit union (if you’re not a dumbass and pay off your balance on time).
You need good credit to get the cards with the best rewards, don’t think a person just starting their credit is going to have the credit required for those.
I don't ever use credit cards. But if you really only use them for like gas and pay them back quickly it can be really beneficial.
I'm trying to pay off this bullshit student loan before I try f***ing with my credit anymore
My first card was a Capital One Platinum card. Don't make any purchases you can't afford with real money. I'll say it again DON'T MAKE ANY PURCHASES YOU CAN'T AFFORD WITH REAL MONEY.

Deadass. I've paid my s*** on time in FULL for 3 years and all they willing to offer me is $150 increase

Sure, but there’s still good starter cards from big banks/credit card companies.
