Real for Quinton Brock. No clue he finally dropped album cause it was taking so long but I remember his singles were fire.
Gonna check now
I was confused about its drop too lol took like 4 days after to pop up on Spotify
listening to a lot more pop punk/punk and hardcore, but not ignoring rap if something comes out that peaks my interest.
Rap the best genre still besides that afro beats and a little r&b all the other s*** you couldn’t even pay me to listen to lmao
Hip hop hasn’t been stale in so long. People who say things like that only listen to the same 4/5 rap heavyweights. Like duh s*** go get played if you’re not expanding your range. There’s a rap style for literally everyone these days.
I agree but I think we probably just getting tired of that s***
Younger generations love this s***
I don’t think they as active and as engaged with the culture as we were at that age in the blog era tho (speaking for my fellow millennials ofc)
It’s wild how most of this site is like 21-25ish talking like they’re washed up old men lol
There’s a lot of great albums that dropped by KTT and Twitter just want mindless easy listening music and call everything with substance boring lol

in reality people just r lost because the 9 or 10 artists they like drop some mid every now and then so they’re just paint the whole industry as stale b/c they’re ignorant
It's weird.
Objecitvely speaking, we've had incredible projects this year especially in terms of rap.
But we've had no real eventful moments. Abel's album wasn't an event. MMTBS wasn't that eventful. Drake damn near dropped his latest album as though it was a mixtape or playlist.
We've had great albums but no real memorable rollouts and events.

Those type of posts give me nonblack “I didn’t like hip hop until 2015 and now I want out of the trend” vibes. Idk why people use hip hop to feel rebellious as a youth and wanna ditch it once they reach a point in their 20’s.
hip-hop? for me kinda but tobi lou's non-perishable out now
My gf loves this album . Busy>>>>
