    For me two things help.

    1. Jerking off before bed (for real)

    2. Sleeping on my side (I have acid reflux, so I kind of have to anyway) with a pillow to kind of grasp onto, like you would a teddy bear or stuffed animal as a kid. That pressure against the chest and stomach does help to relax.

This happened to me last year, I slept probably 5-6 hours across an entire week. It is brutal, I feel for you OP, that exhaustion that kicks in is no fun.

I ended up seeing a doctor and she prescribed me an antihistamine, she described it as something that basically slows your brain function down and helps you get very relaxed.

I’d recommend that for a short term fix and then find the root cause once you have some rest.

    Tea and exercise

    Don't take the d****

  • No food or drink 2 hours before sleep, reduce screen time, stretch and or read before bed and keep a routine

i’ve been experiencing this for the past 3 months, with some improvement here and there and then regressing a bit

for me, it correlates to my anxiety levels, as well as getting frustrated and expecting sleep to come, instead of just enjoying the moment of peace and relaxation and letting it come naturally

unfortunately, once it happens it creates a vicious cycle and it’s a b**** to get out of it, because you either overthink it, or fear it will continue to happen. but it is doable

  • Damn. Everyday I grow more thankful of the things I take for granted. Hope you get the help you need, op. Sleep is so crucial.

Working out at any point in the day usually helps me go to sleep faster once I’m in bed.
CBD night time tinctures (with CBN) helped me too
    3mg melatonin helped too

Do you take those antihistamines on a regular basis? Might not be good to be totally reliant on those to fall asleep

Root cause of it is it just takes me so long to sleep then when I wake up I’m dead tired

    The stuff with cbn

I have some carts and edibles with it, seems like it helps

But then you get dependent on THC for sleep over time

Melatonin and Benadryl help but it's the same issue
