Pretty derivative music there. Don’t like Kendrick Lamar AT ALL, but I can at least appreciate the originality of something like TPAB, but damn was that damn album nothing but derivative “mainstream/trap radio hit” sounding s***
I do recognize there's an eerie/haunting theme underneath all of the generic s*** on that album, but it does still feel tainted by it imo
Kendricks last good album in 2015 but Drakes in 2022
Lol
Honestly Nevermind is a good and focused album.
Did you even listen to it
I did. That Love track is one of the worst songs I’ve ever heard, Loyalty is Kendrick Lamar doing a “mainstream hit” impersonation, Humble was super annoying decent beat I guess tho, DNA was him doing a “trap banger” impersonation but it was “different” because he got “lyrical” on it
Duckworth is one of Kendrick's best songs ever, I will say that
Shame whole album wasn't like that
Kendrick last good album 2015.. Cole 2016.. Drake 2022, and 2015 before that..
Kanye an empty shell of his former self, releasing unfinished trash since 2016..
Travis never topping DBR and being commercialized into oblivion..
Weeknd giving up on making good music after Kiss Land...
PARTY never came back after he went MOBILE...
What went wrong... all of that talent just withering away as fans coped..
vultures aoty
Such a radio friendly song smh
Did you mean to post this radio classic instead?

So did you just listen to the most popular tracks abd the singles, dismissed the rest and then came to the conclusion its a generic album?
Is that how you listen to music in general?

I like this song
Theres 4 songs outta 14 that are radio friendly even if u hate those songs its disingenuous to act like the whole album sounds like that

lol no
I listened to it when it came out and those were some of the examples I remembered most cuz they were preeeetttttyyyyy bad.
I liked section 80 back in like mid 2011 but damn naw

Who cares nigga they all slap
Who cares nigga they all slap
Literally lmao
Same niggas who get mad when he does an album with no radio songs
Who cares nigga they all slap
If you say so lol I mean I’d say the stuff those songs are deriving from “slap” a whole lot more
Honestly Nevermind is a good and focused album.
I thought you had meant Her Loss by Drake in 2022
If you say so lol I mean I’d say the stuff those songs are deriving from “slap” a whole lot more
The point is Kendrick can do it. Which disproved the narrative at the time which was that after TPAB he couldn't make slaps anymore cause he was too conscious
I thought you had meant Her Loss by Drake in 2022
nah that had like 2-3 good songs

Idk bro bro back in 2017-2018 when I was well doing my thing.. I wasn’t listening to no Kendrick Lamar “slaps” to vibe and get motivated and get hyped to get it or celebrate to, I was listening to the real “slappers” being dropped by future thug baby gunna durk all them
