i literally only wanna watch those halloween movies just to watch season of the witch
Halloween 2 is pretty underrated. Honestly you'll not miss much watching the OG trilogy & skipping the rest of the sequels (although the 2018 movie is great)
has there been any good horror/thriller movies released, that aren’t A24?

Aight hear me out
After Halloween 6, Dr. Loomis continues digging into the cult of Thorn (he doesn’t die like the ending implies). He discovers that the cult is linked to Silver Shamrock. The cult intends to attempt their failed ritual from H3 (which ended on a cliffhanger, but this storyline would clarify that the ritual failed).
In Loomis’s research he finds that Silver Shamrock is using the Book of the Dead to enact this ritual. Loomis hears of a deadite attack at a store and discovers Ash. Loomis and Ash team up to create some sort of Suicide Squad to foil Shamrock’s plans.
They assemble a gang that they control through supernatural means or through collateral of sorts (idk this is such a dumb half baked concept that I can’t be bothered to really figure out how this happens lmao).
The group is Jason, Freddy, Chucky, Pumpkinhead, Ash, and Loomis.
Loomis is the one who summons Pumpkinhead and ultimately turns into Pumpkinhead.
When they get to Shamrock, they have to fight their way through Shamrock’s robots and Michael Myers. Pumpkinhead Loomis kills Myers. Ultimately, the cult uses the book of the dead and sends Ash and Chucky into the future.
Ash and Chucky wander around Blade Runner looking cities for months before discovering Uber Jason has existed in this timeline and has been banished. They find that Uber Jason was sent back in time via time machine, with the hopes that he would kill his past self, destroying his future self in the process. Ash and Chucky use this same time machine to travel back in time to recruit Uber Jason (gaining control of him by using his moms necklace or some dumb s*** who cares). They return to Shamrock during the brawl, arriving just after they were originally sent to the past. Uber Jason and Jason wreck shop on the Shamrock robot army.
Idk where else this would go lmao I just think it would be funny af to see this as a comic book or something
hey yall,
any recs on well shot films that have a forest vibe and may also have a sense of desperation/despair? working on a photo series and trying to pull inspo from somewhere. i can think of the obvious choices but throw those in anyways if you could

The Evil Dead
Blair Witch Project
Pumpkinhead
Antichrist
Eden Lake

The Witch and BWP were both the first that came to my mind but it’ll be a good excuse to watch them again, thanks for the list!
The relic was so bad
S*** scared me as a kid though. Watching it as an adult was fun
The Craft trailer was cool. Nancy tease was great also. Just hope it isn't a 100% high school movie. Give me fall witchcraft environment over everything

looks like hot dump
A Nightmare On Elm Street 2 highkey has a top effects scene in horror imo.
Not the best, but a notable one. When Freddy comes out of him while in Grady's room. The way he stands up and it's like he's wearing him as a coat and just falls off of Freddy.
F*** CGI in horror.

Didn't even know a trailer was out, I'll watch. Doesn't look amazing or anything but hoping it's good.
The OG Craft movie is great imo.
