Ever since he said he was the one who was willing to do anything for money all his choices hit different like damn this nigga will do ANYTHING @proper

crine thought this was msct for a sec i was like who the f*** are you talking about bro
I know Desus is in LA doing his writing thing and maybe hes doing better than I know but to me, Mero doubling down on NY gives him a demographic and identity that he can always operate in, versus Desus who the more you separate yourself from being NY centric the more you just becomes another guy trying to be funny in LA which I imagine is a crowded field
wouldn’t he have just been another nigga in NY doing comedy if he stayed and still ended up in the same spot? lmfao idk, always thought NY was comedy center and even more crowded than LA while he had hella connections going out there versus someone just beginning
The beige rage incident with DJ Envy is a classic
"I'm on the air right now with D***head and P****" still sends me
Bro was mad as f*** lmao

Didn't he take a bathroom break after his rant just to cool off? My man was fuming
this is just my opinion but i dont really like mero as a host and all of his talk show projects hes trying to find a groove with his random guests so it always takes a sec to get going. but then again i didnt watch his shows for too long. actually radio might be one of the better places for him in terms of showcasing his talents
@twinkletoez
You know he's on reddit? He made a thread about this himself yesterday and was happy with all the praise
shoutout to desus for letting the best comedy duo this century fall apart over a draftkings ad, only to take a deal for a draftkings podcast later on anyway and doing literally nothing else with his career since
I always thought he was holding mero back so I'm pleased

Yes, the guy who was interviewing Obama in streetwear wouldn't have stood out
Nigga had 2 shows on television and a hit podcast, bro. I lived in NY when they did their tour and they sold out a show in each borough. Neither of these guys had a background in performing: not stand-up, not improv, not acting, not even broadcasting but they still sold out 5 shows across NYC.

I don't understand how the hell Valentine can misinterpret this
Desus got famous for being a NYer, filming his show in NY. Him in LA is literally nothing because it's not the identity he got famous for.
Mero tapped in
#Network
He needs Cipha as a co host @SwilloLoubeaux
Desus's tweets barely hit any more either
shoutout mero tho, might actually tune in to 97 now
Bruh, how you tryna be a comedy writer and your tweets fall off
Desus is the perfect cautionary tale of greed over morals. Mero wanted a Bodega Brand like Hartbeat or 85 South but Desus wanted the easy check and fell for the Hollywood smoke and mirrors (they love you when things are good, they don't know you when things aren't) @sfsorrow
there’s so much behind the scenes we don’t know ab i doubt it was a draft kings ad
when it worked it worked, when it didn’t, it was easy to let go bc they had diff goals and were diff ppl tbh
i doubt it was hard to split ways by the end of it
Nobody ever brings up the Victor situation. That was way more of an influence than f***ing Draft Kings

F*** It bring Rainey up in there

cus that was a smear campaign by showtime execs lmao

i was just speaking specifically to what he said in his comment, but thanks for the history?

Your comment made it seem like Desus would be another stand up comedian and that’s not what he does you feel me
