This my hottest musical take but..

TPAB isn't the 9000/10 album people have been praising it as to me.

In my opinion, it's an amazing listen and very complex and dense which is great... but it hinders its replayability factor and just isn't very accessible.

It's great for seeing how mature and layered an album can be, but its severely lacking in the "fun" department

not saying every album should just be based off fun and replayability

but I am saying that MBDTF doesn't run into this problem

not a hot take it’s quite common even for people who love the album more than you that they don’t listen to it regular cos of how heavy it is

Love TPAB very much and think its one of the best albums this millennium, but OP saying it's a complex and lyrically dense album is funny to me. It's pretty straight forward.

We did not grow up on the same kind of hip hop I guess.
