I work from home. I still find it hard to wake up, but at least I don’t have travel to work.

  • Wake YOUR ASS UP

  • The truth is nobody likes it, you just have to do it until it's a routine. Once it's normal it's just not as hard anymore.

I was laid off in March due to Covid-19 and been unemployed till like last week.

These past 8 months I’ve been sleeping till like 10 or 11am.

Now I have to wake up at 6 just to make it to work by 9.

I’m not getting enough of sleep because I go to sleep around 12 something and end up waking up tired af.

    This 9-6 s*** is hard

I be tired as hell by 9 tbh so its easy. But melatonin helps greatly

It doesnt make me sleepy like a vicodin or anything but the quality of sleep goes up x100. So u wake up refreshed the next day

Ive been waking up around 530 / 6. Idk once you get adjusted it’s the same as any other time

    Set five alarms.

  • Nov 19, 2020

If I have to work or have any other obligations I’ll be up early but literally if I have no obligations it feels impossible to wake up early

I turn mine on and put it across the room.
If you don't wanna do that get a separate thing for the alarm and if you out it across the room to where you gotta walk to it, it helps

When you get older and have responsibilities you’ll barely sleep at all. I work 6-6 and probably sleep 4-5 hours a night

Damn that’s tough, I hope you’re compensated properly for that.

What kind of job is that, if you don’t mind me asking?

  • Nov 19, 2020

    Work lol

Soon as you keep doing it, your sleep cycle gets altered by it

    Honestly it sucks

I wake up at 6:30 M-F. Fall asleep anywhere from 10:45-12:15.

I had a early morning job at age 16 for two years, like 4:45AM.

    It built me different.

Gas meter installation. Super mellow and easy and the checks are pretty nice plus the benefits are great. I chill just as much as I work each day a lot of time is spent driving and doing nothing

What's worse than that is going to sleep and only being able to sleep for 3-4 hours no matter what time u try it

like sometimes i be going to sleep at lets say 8-10 PM so i can get up at like 6-8 AM, but wake up at 11-2 AM unwillingly and then can't sleep fr till like 6-8 PM the next day. or i'll go to sleep at 2-3 AM and wake up at 6-7 AM unable to sleep anymore

    pandemic f***ed me all up

melatonin and s*** make me tired and still unable to sleep

My internal clock wakes me up at some time between 6:50-7:15 without fail everyday.

Gotta develop a routine and stop staring at your phone before you go to bed every night.

  • When I was getting up at 5 for Amazon I basically just forced a routine in.

Wake up, caffeine pill, meds, bathroom, leave

Get home, eat, straight to bed, repeat

Never felt awake until like 9 and my rates would be s*** at the start of the day which would affect my whole days rate

  • Nov 19, 2020

Mannnn I used to start at 7pm so I would wake up at 5:30-6 shower maybe a nutrigrain bar and dip and still be 15-20 mins early.

Then they moved me to day shift started at 8am. Had to start waking up at 6am shower and leave a whole hour 15 mins before the start of my shift to battle with f***ing traffic. And make it barely on time everyday.

Hated waking up in the morning
