Just curious to see what y’all think about this. For example, if someone brutally murders someone else, then they would get murdered in the same way. Definitely an extreme example but just getting the point across. (Obviously with anything there would possibly be exceptions)
Edit: this is hypothetical
would this decrease crime rates since perpetrators would know the same thing will happen to them?
sounds like a terrible idea that doesn’t address the root of the actual issues
how does the root get addressed then
if a person kills multiple people, how would this justice system repay them? by killing them multiple times?
would make sense if we lived in a world where everybody was of equal socioeconomic status and mental health wasn't a thing
but we do so a system like this would be terribly unfair
if a person kills multiple people, how would this justice system repay them? by killing them multiple times?
What if it's like manslaughter or something? A person doesn't deserve to die for that lmfao

that’s why i mentioned exceptions/alternate punishments

have several ideas but don’t know if i can state them on here
would this decrease crime rates since perpetrators would know the same thing will happen to them?
lol, no.

I'm for this. There is some terrible people out there who deserve retribution.
