Yeah okay I’ve done it before. It’s not that f***ing hard. I’m a soldier and sometimes I work for 24 hours without extra pay and you don’t hear me complaining. Because I chose to have this job. Just like anyone else.
“My job is hard” isn’t an excuse
No, you're clearly brainwashed. And you clearly did not wait tables well enough if it's "not that hard." Do you bring your table refills before they asked you? Did you offer them another drink before they asked you? Near the end of the meal, did you approach them with the check in hand, a box in case they wanted to take home the remaining food, and a dessert menu, so that you may maximize all possible outcomes of what they may need, before they asked, while simultaneously being ready with all of those things for the table next to them, while having a table of 6's order, with drinks and appetizers, memorized in your head, and a plate of sliced lemons for another table in the other hand?
There are too many variables you haven't considered, and if you've waited tables and never bad the stress like this, then you likely were receiving pitty tips and did terribly and were clueless to your service. I know, because I was a terrible server my first two - four years doing it, and I've been doing it nine years.
Also, anyone calling me broke, I make $35/hrs.
I’ll only leave a good tip if the service is good. Bad service get no tip or some lil

Have you ever been yelled at and humiliated by 6 men while firing live ammunition? Have you ever been yelled at and humiliated and then seen your friend get shot by a machine gun right after that? And have you had to go to work the day after that happened with no breaks?
Yeah shut the f*** up. Stop with the “my job is harder” game. I guarantee you’re going to lose.
Lol I get yelled at and disrespected while machine guns are firing and I don’t get paid anything extra. If you volunteer to do a job then don’t f***ing complain about the stress.
You should complain. You're just a f***ing d*** sucker for whoever your boss is. Once you unlearn to get your mouth from off of your boss' d***, along with your co-workers (whether it be 5, of 1 million co-workers that you have), then y'all collectively can demand better work environments/pay/etc.
I have the right to complain if I am not paid adequately, and best believe I talk to my co-workers everyday about trying to get us all a higher hourly than $2.13.

Respect our troops 😠

Then f***ing complain to him don’t complain to me I’m not your boss

You're in the military? You allowed a recruiter to poach you?
like waiters be gettin paid the wages they deserve tbh. There is no skill to the job. Its a s*** job to work, but you can quit anytime you want and pursue a better career path. There is honestly zero reason to tip other than just out of the kindness of your heart because they haven't done anything to deserve money from you.
being a section waiter is not easy tf, especially if you’re in a high end place with several out bys
idk bout the states but we have to do tip tests regularly in order to receive 100% tip allocation

Lol whatever man that’s not what this conversation is about
If ya have the money to tip generously, do so, especially if the workers are mostly paid thru tips. If u don't really got the money, still tip just don't tip as much
Then f***ing complain to him don’t complain to me I’m not your boss
The point has gone way over your head
Lol whatever man that’s not what this conversation is about
It most definitely is what the conversation is about. If you want to speak on how my position is paid, I can most definitely speak on the military destabilization of foreign lands that you have (or may not have) the belief of doing so for freedom, or maybe free tuition, or some other perk that is not worth your life.
Tipping in europe not a big thing like in the US i guess but i usually make sure to tip the delivery guy especially if hes biking. Restaurants a few euros as well
People in Europe get fair wages

They are literally serving you. Do you know what "serve" means?
And don't give me that "that's their job" s***. The job is to get the order in, all that extra s*** that clientele want when they come to eat at nicer restaurants, is not required.
You should see a table's face of feeling disrespected when I don't laugh at their dumb ass joke. Is that part of my job? Why is my pay less now cause I didn't laugh?
