Because he is
Eminem is a medicore artist that gets gas because of the era he came out in
Eminem is still one of the greatest rappers of all time, think every rapper from his era and later still give him his flowers they would laugh at this take
That’s a lovable bunch!!
Why not talk about them instead of spending time convincing people to not like jay z music?
I think Jay Z is a threat to the Black community on the scale of Pentecostal pastors and con men.
I don't think I'm going to be successful in making his Stans understand that they're every bit as deluded as any other fanbase but it's really fun to try.
C1 is phenomenal
C2 best street rap album ever
C3 is rappers summer peak
C4 is a fantastic snapshot into what early 2010s mainstream hip hop sounded like
C5 was excellent self reflection like we’d never heard from Wayne
C6 was a great example of what not to do 30 years into your career

Tons of dopamine for sure
I mean you know I’m just in it for the music.

The leaked C3 sessions were some of the best music hiphop has ever heard
lol but that’s really all Em rapped about the first 5~ years of his career & he spent the next 2 decades rapping about how sorry he was for saying all that
there’s nothing to like
Reductionist and just plain wrong.
Somebody ban this man.
To me Renegade is the perfect representation of Jay Z. Slick rapping with a nice flow about how he had to hustle to come up from the bottom. Very impressive by itself but looks weak af when a rapper who’s lyrically superior is on the same song
Alright and Hov is still lyrically superior than 95% of the game what does this mean
Even if you did think Eminem was a better rapper than Hov there’s still only a handful of people that could out hat him on a song. You saying this liek any ol c list rapper is gonna hop on a track and wash him when hovs only rapping with people on his level most times
Tons of dopamine for sure
I mean you know I’m just in it for the music.
Not even dopamine, just frustration and schadenfreude
Will your horrible takes never end?
i was about to post “C1 has Walk In, Go DJ, This Is The Carter” etc but i realized i was just posting the entire tracklist
you need to give it another listen, especially that run from Cash Money Millionaires to the end

All great songs but midway through the second verse of Fireman you can actually hear Wayne transitioning from a great street rapper to the only person in the world that could make I Feel Like Dying and P**** Money Weed
Jay has had a bunch of very average albums (even though I prefer Jays writing to Eminems)
Also separately I would say Biggie is a far superior songwriter to Jay even though Jay is a great songwriter
If Eminem stayed half as consistent as Jay then it would be an actual conversation but he got much much worse than Jay's worst albums.
Went from a genius to literally making the worst rap songs of all time on a regular basis.
Obviously Biggie is untouchable not sure why he's getting mentioned.
.
Both are washed today
Including Em and Ye in your list is a very interesting choice lmao
Songwriting is not only rapping ability my friend
Family Business and Stan >>>>

Jay’s 5 on my list. His fans just gotta stop acting like he was this untouchable guy. It was Nas, PAC, and Big. When it was supposed to be his time Eminem, dmx, 50 came along and he lost a rap battle to Nas. Great rapper and businessman but the rewriting of history to inflate his standing has to end

Name some of these worst rap songs of all time
Puke, Big Weenie, Ass Like That, My Mom, Bagpipes From Baghdad, Crack A Bottle, Won't Back Down, White Trash Party, Not Afraid, Cinderella Man, Berzerk, Rap God etc etc plus a mountain of just mid.
Any song with Skyler Grey, Rihanna, Sia, Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Pink etc.
I was already heavy into rap when SSLP came out, which I had on day one. no artist in my lifetime went from unbelievably amazing to unbelievably trash so suddenly (immediately after 8 Mile).
The Death Of Slim Shady however is great and Ive kept it in rotation. Never thought I'd give a s*** about an Eminem album again.

ah okay i understand the disconnect here
you have a thing against “street rappers”
you also mentioned West Africa earlier, you live out there? it’s all starting to make sense, no opinion you’ve shared in here could possibly come from someone from the US unless they were openly racist, and you’ve already stated you’re not white.
I mean, you like what you like
You jamming to Puke, Ass Like That, Bagpipes From Baghdad etc?
