The point is there is nothing anyone can say to convince you that Jay is the better writer, your mind is made up already
You could discuss the actual lyrics?
You don't seem to have this much trouble debating against Drake fans who have their minds made up in the sales thread
The Black Album
American Gangster
Watch the Throne
4:44
All released after 2002
All horrendous albums (see what I did there?)

I don't believe you know more than 10 songs collectively on those 4 albums combined

I saw you argue with Drake stans for 10 pages over the allegedly objective GNX sales.

They weren't allegedly objective, they are objective

I've probably listened to more Jay Z (and hip hop in general) than you have.
They weren't allegedly objective, they are objective
So why could anybody argue that GNX wasn't the biggest album of the decade?

I'm pressing X on that one
Like I said, jay’s legacy is based on myth and falls apart like a house of cards upon any examination. He supposed has this discog full of classics that no listens to anymore. He’s also this great song writer but can’t make a hit without features to save his life. Literal sand castle legacy
Vol 1-2 still hold up
BP1 is classic hands down
BP2 bloated but has some joints but a few songs on here are weak sure
Black Album classic hands down
KC mid to decent at best
AG classic but i rarely run it back
BP3 classic and Jay’s take on a blog era style album lol
WTT classic
Everything here I either bump regularly or consistently run back songs from even the weaker/lesser played joints here (Ignorant S***, The Prelude, Hovi Baby)
So why could anybody argue that GNX wasn't the biggest album of the decade?
Because they're people who deny reality based on their obsession with one man
Remove 1999-2002 and Eminem has one of the worst discographies of all-time in rap music
Encore

Recovery
MMLP2

This is not true whatsoever. Besides Eminem, he is the only rapper that debuted before the 21st Century that's currently in the Top 100 on Spotify. The next closest are 2Pac at #191 and Biggie at #280.
He's also this great songwriter but can't make a hit without features to save his life
Also, not true. Jay is one of 21 artists ever to amass at least 100 entries on the Hot 100. For rappers, he's one of 12. Regardless, being a great songwriter is not about making hits, it's about writing poignant songs

Is Yung Joc the barometer for being a hip-hop fan?
