Why would he have anything bad to say about a child. Listen back and think about how a child would feel about what is being said about their father. As a son you feel like you become you follow your father’s legacy and create yours for your sons/kids. How would you feel if that track was aimed at your dad? Not taking issue with what Kendrick did but what you are saying is 100% bullshit

    It’s not bullshit

What I said was that he didn’t say anything bad towards him DIRECTLY

You’re saying “the context of what he said about his dad would make him feel bad”

2 different things. What Kendrick said about his dad could hurt him and make him feel bad, but he wasn’t directly mean/sinister towards Adonis.

Thats what makes Kendrick such a outstanding writer and why he got away with walking that fine line without outrage.

    Zack From The Six

Music fans who paid money to attend a concert are singing along to a very popular song, shocker

Why didn't Drake perform Push Ups, Family Matters, or THE HEART PART 6 live for his Australian brethrens Zack?

  • Better than all of them. A top 5 diss record in rap history

The picture did nothing for me but I get why it worked. The deadbeat thing I just disagreed with all together. Bro with his kid a lot it seems. And given the rocky past with that BM, if he was a horrible father I doubt she would let him have him. And lots of public figures keep kids hush. I could also be wrong and far off too. But this is a 8 year old beef with people we don’t know, so it really doesn’t matter that much.

I agree with the “blueprint” even though I preferred every beef song that doesn’t follow suit

Bro you itt and u have ur own inpout talm bout we don’t know these niggas
Bro we dissecting hip hop based off the knowledge we have of them
Interpreting the songs as they come
Foh w that s*** tryna downplay the fact I took u to school you the same nigga singing along calling niggas u “aint know” a pdf

    Gosh

MTG was good because it was literally the one type of song that could've stalled FM

Even dropping NLU that quick wouldn't have hit that hard

MTG was just so perfect and that feeling will never be matched

The Meet The Graham drop is legit like a top 3 music moment of my lifetime tbh

  • Jun 21, 2025

meet the grahams is just a more sadistic version of TSOA

It was basically a psychoanalysis of Drake's character

MTG is basically a horror movie in a song

It works better in the songs favor that the setup is him “revealing” to the family and the listener about who Drake is as a person and what he’s done.

Right, n we’re supposed to believe that just cause Kendrick is such a saint

Second lol. The fact that he leaked Drake has a daughter really overshadowed how he broke down that man's character. "Them M's count different when Baby divides the pie" is just a crazy bar nobody talks about

Also Kendrick didn’t follow suit. Drake tried to do what Pusha did to him to Kendrick, Dot saw the play and beat him at his own game

Drake using Push tactics in the Kendrick beef was hilarious to see

I respect SOA for being influential and sorta creating the blueprint for the “modern” diss track that we’ve seen over the last couple of years.

I think all of dots are superior though.

The thing is Pusha didn’t really reveal anything that wasn’t already circulating around the gossip pages

I think the track is fire but don’t like how it issued in this new gossip style approach to beefs now

Not saying it never happened but that track is the only example in current day rappers have to reference to in approaching beef. Kendrick even followed suit

Rap beefs always had airing of dirty laundry

  • Killah in another beef thread spiraling with nonsensical paragraphs

Pusha and Dot are very similar with how they approach their art and how closely they hold “loyalty” to their chest and how fiercely they defend their loved ones.

Which is why I think the both of them respect each other so much, they understand each other. Which is why Pusha always gives him high praise and Kendrick gave him a rare coveted feature for the Clipse album.
