    Let me explain in more detail

    Kendrick is hailed for his lyrical ability, he’s considered a top tier lyricist in a way that Meek is not. Not in 2015 or now. Meek was also further from Drake’s level in terms of cultural relevancy.

    Meek fumbled the bag completely in that beef. Sending off tweets instead of bars, taking too long to respond, etc. The info could have been used in a more impactful way if done by somebody closer to Drake’s caliber, ie either someone from the big 3 or a legend, basically.

    If Kendrick had called out Drake for using a ghost writer as a bar on a diss song, and provided proof like Meek did, it would be a much more remembered moment than Wanna Know was.

    Maybe but let's not act like Meek was someone who wasn't respected in the game back in 2015. He was at the peak of his popularity back then. He was dating Nicki Minaj and dropped an acclaimed album that did a quarter million units first week. He was a big deal back in 2015 and it's inaccurate to suggest in any way that he wasn't. Hid name being as big as it was back then was the very reason why that beef was so high-profile. If he was a nobody rapper, it wouldn't have made the waves it did.

    That’s why I didn’t say he was irrelevant, just that Kendrick would’ve been the better messenger because Kendrick was more relevant and is known more as a lyricist than Meek was
