    depending some days 8 then other nights is kinda hard because i have this thing where i worry at night i wont sleep because i lay in bed with my eyes closed waiting to fall a sleep but it does not happen then it worries me and tips for this? to improve

    try only laying in your bed when you are ready to sleep so then your mind only associates your bed with sleep? i’ve heard that

    i lay in bed watching tv until im tired enough to sleep because if i go to bed right away i cant force myself to sleep right away takes time

    I get this periodically from time to time and im up all night. Usually I have to get out of bed do something else like watch TV or something. Then when I return to bed I try to sleep in a different position. Then I meditate and count my breathes

    On a related note, you guys should check out the Sleep Cycle app. It’s an alarm clock app that also monitors your sleep pattern. You can either set it to monitor your breathing through your phones mic or use a Fitbit or similar device.

    It monitors your stages of sleep every night and compiles the data, and the best/main point of it is that you set a window when you want to wake up rather than a specific time, and it will wait until you are in a light sleep cycle and then set the alarm off, so you never get pulled out of REM sleep and feel gross.

    If you’re a mapper, it’s so f***ing clutch because you pretty much eliminate ever having those naps where you just wake up feeling worse.

    Quarantine was cool because working from home meant I didn’t have to wake up an hour earlier and actually drive to work
