Watch a lot of stand up comedy and comedy shows/movie, you can sort of learn comedic timing that way. I’m not funny usually tho just seems like something that could help

You're either naturally funny or you're not

Expand the information you take in. Half of a joke is just having something to say on a subject. More than that, having something to say that’s more than the surface level take. Also apply wit, it’s an underrated trait. Meaning be smart about it. Anyone can make a fart joke, but not everyone can be Dave Chappelle or anything close to that.
