    Researching effective workouts helps for sure

    It’s easier to do a workout when you have a specific list of exercises you want to do for a day because then it feels like a challenge rather than you just being there doing random s***

    Build a or find a routine.

    Lifting is more enjoyable for me when I know what I’m gonna do before hand and therefore I’m not just walking around wasting time.

    working out is all about getting into the flow state. it doesn't have to be entertaining but instead gives you a chance to turn off your mind and just focus on your body. that plus the feeling after a good workout make it worth it for me, not to mention the aesthetic and health improvements

    It’s not really about having fun.

    Might seem boring at first while you’re scrawny but once you get a hang of it you’ll probably start enjoying yourself more.

    But until then go into it with a more serious approach

    Have a mental image in your head of your body getting fit.

    Which in return will increase your confidence, make clothes on you look better, and overall will make you feel healthy mentally and physically.

    Think of every time you workout, you’re getting closer to your goal.

    Then eventually working out will be like a routine, you will just do it because you’re used to it.

    You gotta find a style that works for you, that's why I don't be knocking crossfit and other exercises cause for some people that's just what they like. I still don't like lifting but I'll get a few lifts in a week and go to kickboxing and jiu jitsu.
    If nothing else go with a friend and maybe that'll help
