I don’t get a reason to make a big deal out of it. Just acknowledge it and move on. Lol kids learn quickly that those things aren’t actual first place prizes
What OP is suggesting is making it a far bigger thing than the average parent who would say cool and then sit on the couch
people who trip off of participation trophies are weird.
Bro if a 7 year old puts in the time to go to practice multiple times a week, compete in games, demonstrate teamwork, etc they should be rewarded even if their team doesnt win a championship. Thats a big accomplishment for someone that age.
they dont need to be rewarded with a trophy tho. but yea it aint that deep.
Even at school you might not come first in your classes but you might shot up your grade from d to B+
That’s worth some recognition

Honestly idc either way I already said if kids like over 12 and being little s*** then I would agree with people saying they are bad
But young ass kids no leave them alone

Why not? Most of the time theyre just cheap pieces of plastic and metal

trophies symbolize winning they could be celebrated with a pizza party pr something for completion

A trophy can be for any achievement. Doesn't have to be winning a championship.
Kids can learn multiple languages. they arent stupid bro. once they hit a certain age I think they understand the difference between a participation trophy and an actual trophy.
Overall its just a weird thing to complain about
My brother and I both used to run track when we were in school. He would come home with several 1st places and I had my participation ribbon, maybe a 4th place here & there. My brother and father would call me a "fruit" and I would have to eat my dinner on the couch because I had not earned the right to sit at the winner's table. These days, they're both depressed, obese men in sexless relationships with women they hate. So maybe you should treat your kids like garbage, so they can grow up to be greater than you, just as it should be.
That's horrible but yeah I wouldn't approach it that way. We tryna uplift em don't bash em down with name calling.
I don’t love or hate them you just tweaking
And I’m not surprised you got a wife and kids w this boomer ass take ☠️
Boomer take the f***?
Yeah you definitely cried for participation trophies as a kid.
No I don't have kids yet I still got partying to do heaux.

Do they? Look at how entitled some individuals are today. That's straight because of that participation trophy behaviour coddling em with losing.

Lmao the f*** is wrong with you? Keep talking crazy but it’s not good for ya you participation trophy baby😂
Calling a 90s baby a boomer oh boi you mad as s***
I would tell my child that I'm proud of them regardless of any trophy and then give them one of these...
These are the scenarios that keep you niggas up at night?
Not really I smoke weed and then do a thread check my history
I wouldn't care but we should just let kids fail and they can learn from that. Lost, failure and rejection are important events in life but we try to avoid it.
is this a true story?
Yes sir it is. Funny thing is I actually own the "winner's table" now. I bought it from my father after he got a new dining table. I keep it unassembled in a storage closet. I set it up and eat at it when I accomplish something.
