@op I’ve finally gotten around to this and I f***ing love it already. the goodbyes we get to say, and those we don’t is absolutely haunting and beautiful
Man the atmosphere on Chasm. This is incredible
Gorgeous project man, truly. Your delivery is fantastic over these soundscapes and they complement the lyrics perfectly. It absolutely demands attention and feeling, the way a film demands you empathize as part of the experience. Thank you so much for sharing, I make a completely different genre but your work inspires the hell out of me and I know I’ll be running this back plenty this year.

Thank you very much. That really means a lot.
I try to be very deliberate with my delivery. Especially so on these tracks. Very precise about each inflection and every pause or what not. Same with the instrumentals, lot of ones that I like a lot got made, but left aside cause they just didn't cultivate that required mood. So I'm very glad to hear it all resonated with you in the way you put it. Attention and feeling is the only goal.
I'd love to check out the stuff you make.
be prepared to be bummed out. get ready to really languish
Couldn't have put it better myself
Thank you for listening again. I'm glad you liked it.
Still the vibe:

Absolutely man. Art is all about communication and you communicated beautifully.
I try to keep my personal stuff separate from KTT, but I went ahead and bought your album on Bandcamp from my account that has some music. IG is the same name appreciate you wanting to listen!

I hope I'm listening to the right account. If so, I really like the track 'Soil'!
I wish I could make stuff that complex and developing.
(Do let me know if I'm mistaken and listening to somebody that just is completely not you )
Man, the album is brilliant. Your voice as a producer, and musician in general, sounds so developed considering you started so recently. The moods, the sentiments, the sounds all sound so deliberate and TANGIBLE
This inspires me so much. Thank you for your great music, and for letting me be a part of this project. So much respect for what you do 🤝🤝

F*** yeah thanks man I really appreciate that, that’s a live synth set recording from a show last summer and I’m still really proud of how it turned out

Tangible is exactly the right word, this is all facts. I came back to the goodbyes you get to say today and god damn, absolute talent.

Extremely clean recording. Really nice, meditative journey overall. Climax of 'Sun' got to me, had me just taking a much needed pause and deep breath.
I look forward to what else you make in the future.

Thank you man. Means a lot.
After doing this all alone, it was a nice mix-up to get your feature. A quite magical feeling the first time hearing someone else on one of your beats. So thank you for that experience. Really was in many ways the real impetus behind this all coming together.

Your Art Is That is ambient spoken word beauty, if i may break it down via a couple (buzz-)words
which makes it totally something for me
it's crazy that this album sounds like you've been on a journey to finding and improving your sound for years even though that's not the case apparently

Thank you man, very much. Ambient spoken word beauty was definitely a mix I had in mind during the creation.
I'm surprised myself how quickly and easily it just comes together sometimes. Plenty of improvement to go though, if I get the time to learn how. So many ideas I would love to execute but just haven't been capable of so far.
Thank you again for listening, to this and the previous album.

never stop tagging me in your threads for whatever ideas you're dropping
Today marks 1 year since I dropped my first album. Thought I would put a little post for it.
It still constantly amazes me that it even exists. It was put together across 2 years and a handful of months. First learning to produce to some moderately acceptable and interesting level. Learning how to put words to those instrumentals in a way that felt authentic and right to me. Learning to mix till it was somewhat listenable, literally like 100 hours across June and July just tinkering and tinkering endlessly.
But then one day it was just suddenly done. And even better, I was proud of it, even with all of it's imperfections. It was a feeling of immense relief (until literally the second I put it out when I immediately felt adrift once more).
It was originally supposed to be called, 'Anyways, We Move'. It was supposed to be a journey through the depression I had experienced to that point in my life, but ultimately ending up in a place of optimism. The most crushing breakup near the finish line altered elements of that. My voice got wearier. That title felt cold and no longer true. The cover was meant to be made by that ex, in a way it still ended up being so, just what had been left behind.
I have listened to it a great deal this past year. It hurts me and it heals me. But I'm glad it exists. I made it for two people - one was me, and the other, I don't know if they ever did hear it. But so many of you did, so thank you for that. Taking the time to engage with it and write such honest words meant a great deal to me.
If you have some time, give it another listen today or this weekend. My favourite track is Pure Matter, favourite beat is Exile, favourite verse is Torment, favourite little audio sample is the end of Where Butterflies Dance.

There is a 3rd album in the works. Just two days ago I think I finally figured out the final instrumental I needed for it. I plan to finish up writing the album within the next 2 weeks or so, its about 75% of the way there. Try and record all my vocals by Mid-September. Then have to f***ing mix the thing which is gonna be a pain in the ass cause: 1) I always forget how to between albums, 2) the structure of this one.
But anyway, I really, really like it so far. Got a few rough demos I've recorded and I've been playing them non-stop. I don't like giving spoilers too much, but I guess as a sonic direction it can be fairly jazzy in sound. My mum's the only person who has heard 4 of the beats and she was big-time vibing with all of them, which has never happened before. So prepare for my mainstream breakthrough apparently.
Expect it Q1 2024.

Mannn congrats !
Seeing you releases an album shocked me, but listening to it shocked me even more. Felt like the work of a much more seasoned producer/writer--sounded so emotive and sincere all the way through..
And "Your Art is That" was even better... lord knows this new one is gonna hit. Can't wait. Salute to you always, friend
