Thanks man I really appreciate all the positive feedback. Today’s also been great for pointing out issues that there’s no way I could’ve known just testing the site out in my own. Highlighted some areas that still need work for sure.

And I’ve got a sorta rough roadmap for where I think I can take the site in terms of functionality. Was going to see what the reception was like before sinking anymore time into it though.

Honestly I looked into it and the bag would’ve been pretty small. Really not worth the user frustration. Plus it was important for me to come with nothing but good intentions and not look like I’m trying to sell s*** and make money off people here

You’re onto something. It’s definitely something I’m considering although it probably won’t be the next thing that gets added. As part of the current database I’ve already got a list of rappers and songs. So it’s gonna be a lot easier to add rankings of the goats or like every Kanye song or something

Ahh that sounds about right. Was thinking that other genres ranking could be also be used to Introduce people to new genres. But yeah rap atm sounds like it would be easier

maybe you could normalize everyone’s rankings and avg them out for a more accurate global list

imo the variety of music taste here is way more interesting than people realize. i think a lot of ppl will be surprised when the app drops. ktt2 doesn’t do a great job of showing how broad and varied peoples tastes are yet..
