Yeah most likely, because if we were all relatively united on this planet and put more and more of our resources into scientific advancement, medicine, research, etc we’d be more of a “threat” or powerful.

Better to keep us subdued so we don’t have a chance of gaining some type of power

I look at it more from a scientific perspective.

Even right now our scientific minds are constantly trying to better understand how we evolved / where we came from.

So what if in the distant future, we somehow find a way to explore time, but instead of sending actual humans, we send super advanced drones (UFOs) to retrieve information and data. This hypothetical manipulation of time would explain why UFOs have been sighted all throughout history and also explain how many of them seem to "vanish" out of thin air.

Ehh I guess someone could look at it like back then the Pyramid building was so advanced as compared to other civilizations building techniques, that it almost didn't make sense.

If something visited humans thousands of years ago, and saw where they were developmentally, the pyramid building technique may have been a major advancement at that point in time

its like you cant get to the top of a staircase without the other steps in between, imo...

Always interests me how a One World Gov is really the one constant evil that appears in pretty much every conspiracy theory these days.

But when you watch TV shows from the Cold War era, a 1WG is often portrayed as a really good thing (Star Trek, Captain Scarlet) - presumably at this point a unified humanity was seen as a better prospect than two competing superpowers pushing the world to the brink of nuclear extinction

I feel u but doesn’t this imply that some of these advancements were lost at some point, as later civilisations (with better kept records) didn’t appear to be able to complete the same feats. If so is there a clear time when this knowledge disappeared?

Also, intelligent life manifesting on other planets could be much more frequently occuring in another galaxy than ours, so if theres intelligent life out there that could even know of our existence, maybe we are just not interesting enough to even study.. let alone contact
