    • Other intelligent life
    • The creator/god discussion

I feel u but doesn’t this imply that some of these advancements were lost at some point, as later civilisations (with better kept records) didn’t appear to be able to complete the same feats. If so is there a clear time when this knowledge disappeared?

I mean, it's a constant process of discovery. But we do know a few things about egyptian technology - en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ancient_Egyptian_technology

The great filter is at the same time both extremely interesting & depressing

Facts, bro. Everything they detail makes total sense, and that's what ends up being the most depressing. Have we passed the great filter? or are we destined to fail?

I took my dog out this morning and really just paid attention to all the different species of animals that are just in my vicinity. Then i started thinking about their evolution, and how they came to be, and went down that rabbit hole soon after.

    Evolution is wild b.

To be honest. Im 90% sure its the second. I believe this indeed has happened multiple times to multiple civilisations. Who knows how far they already were before everything vanished

    Really a crazy thought

Stop being interested in the same things as me though what are u my long lost brother lmao

It really is a beautiful thing. The show Comos (from 2014) honestly kinda blew my mind at the time. One of the episodes touched on how similar we are to all other species on the planet, and it wasnt even new information, but the way it was presented made me gain a whole new perspective on our role as humans. I honestly believe a disconnect with nature poses a very real threat to our species.

Foreals though Space in general in addition to all the mysteries we can’t answer just intrigues me a lot bro. This concept itself is the basis for a comic I’ve been writing for the past year actually

I still need to peep Cosmos. That’s the one with Neil Degrasse Tyson right?

I think the fact that we’re all pretty similar is what facinates me the most.

    I need answers!!!!

I believe all sorts of people (government bodies included) have ways of communicating with or even summoning alien entities. The problem is I don't think people as a whole are at a point of comprehending it. I mean people still get thrown off at the idea of taking DMT and reaching different realms with entities in it. Imagine if the government just outright spoke on aliens? It would cause mass hysteria.

Also I don't believe every entity is harmless and/or is interested in us like that.

bruh i never thought i'd sympathize with some Aliens like that, but s\*\*\* was sad

that ending was also pretty tragic too. kind of a depressing film. but the most realistic take IMO on how we'd try to interact with Aliens if they did descend upon us

Peep it. Top 10 movie for me, and it’s probably the most realistic take on what would happen if Aliens landed on earth
