@op one time i read that if you can't sleep is because your ass isn't properly cleaned, i didn't believe it at first but when i hopped on the shower that day i started hitting every spot in that mf and i slept really good when i got to the bed again, ik you're not gonna believe me but try that and see if it fixs it

Maybe try to wake up a half hour or hour earlier so you get a bit less sleep. Don’t look at any screens or bright lights for a couple hours before you sleep. If you have to, use a screen yellower and turn it up all the way. Don’t exercise a couple hours before bed. Cold room. When you wake up in the morning go out and get daylight in your eyes soon as you wake up, so your body knows it’s day time. It’s called sleep hygiene! I would just research that a bit.
Meditation can help too, but it takes awhile and a bit of practise, usually with someone that can teach you how to do it before it works though. That can help after a long term.
Those were the things I was told to do and it helped a lot. I don’t usually have trouble sleeping now.
If it’s because of anxiety or something then you might have to see a therapist.

pretty much. didn’t fall asleep immediately after the countdown but the breathing helped i guess

Don’t drink alcohol and caffeine in crazy amounts. Once I stopped I started sleeping like a baby.
Look up some sleep optimization stuff. Andrew huberman and a ton of guys have some great info. A lot of people that don’t sleep well have some very fixable habits that could be broken and help a lot.
