I considered viral meningitis, but I've had the meningitis vaccine which is why it's confusing
I've also experienced moderate light sensitivity but I assumed it was a migraine
My PCP is complete trash and nearby ERs are neglectful and rushed, don't know where to get proper care on short notice
Gotta love America
that definitely sounds like HIV
maybe that's the move wow
it should be the move regardless to just rule stuff out.
Also if your fever is getting better then I would stop taking tylenol/ibuprofen. Whenever i get a fever/body aches I always try to ride it out as long as you can because thats your body's response on fighting the infection and taking meds only prolongs it (only if the fever is <103 degrees though)

don't you see in 2D? and you're smoking sherm? put the pcp down cmon? its not like ketamine, its not curing your depression, its probably encouraging mania tbh
i know it might also work on glutamate channels in that respect so maybe in the future you can get a pcp script or something but i think taking dissociatives in your current state is kinda not a good idea?
Primary care physician bro

I thought Asian culture has its own natural remedies to stuff like this, sorry to hear this op

Man that's what I'm saying but mom on sum my house my rules s*** and yelling at me to take the meds because that's all she know lol
I'm premed and I'm aware that fever is a healthy immune response that shouldn't be suppressed unless it causes discomfort but I kept taking painkillers that were wrecking my stomach even after my fever started slightly decreasing just to give her peace of mind

List symptoms again
Deep intense joint/muscle pain
Extreme lethargy
Nighttime awakenings after 3-4 hours with head & neck pain + light sensitivity
Persistent fever that rose from 100 to 104 in a day, and was only somewhat responsive to acetaminophen/ibuprofen
Intense chills & shivering when fever sets in, and night sweats + sweating whenever I took painkillers
Erased appetite but still feel physiological hunger
Onset of symptoms ~3 hours after going to a massage parlor (not sure if relevant lol)

That helps but lots of pathogens can find their way to the brain through bloodstream, sensitivity to light is also concerning
I agree that our healthcare system is ass, Ive been in multiple situations where urgent care was not sufficient and ended up in ER waiting room for hours on end

Mono a possibility, for your sake I hope its not that haha
That's good that its going down, you should be able to ride it out
If temp jumps back to where it was or even higher though I'd be concerned but I'd guess you're through the worst

Yeah I really hope so, I've already had mono before which is why I was apprehensive about considering it's rare to get twice
Really hope I'm through the worst of it

I don't think so, urgent care PA said everything looked good besides the HR (150 resting) & 104 fever
It does feel strange in my throat though, not much pain tho
ER, you may have meningitis
Causes high fever, head and neck pain
Not something to wait on, its literally brain inflammation
