How hard is it? I’m pretty good at testtaking but now I’m scared.
It was awhile ago but I’m horrible when it comes to tests
I’m slow breh but it felt hard for me
I went my entire childhood dreaming of being in the military. Got into computers instead and glad I did. I see how my country treats vets.
Anyway, do you and godspeed
aint gon s*** on OP but its f***ed up how one day in America you a young carefree nigga just living your life and months later you shaving your head bald packing your s*** to go throw your individuality and identity away out of a fear of not achieving goals and metrics of success that someone pulled out of thin air with ulterior motives
i see why old niggas be salty or how one or two decisions based in a desire of stability sets u on a path to wake up at 36 one day just hating your life
OP ain't you a fat f***? Your kind of f***ed in basic Training better lighten up fatass
If they ask you where you wanna go say South Korea
My cousin joined the Army and got stationed out there , so much f***ery stories , my mom use to control his bank account because he would blow all his money on juicy girls

Yeah that’s life. Even though the people on this site want to be kids forever eventually you have to grow up. My parents moved to a different continent for a better life when they were 18. Because of that they gave me a good life. I’m not giving up on my passions or something but I’m not a kid. I’m not gonna prioritize “following my dreams” over securing a good future for me and my kids.

man
military is okay until you realize you’re trading your freedom for money so it comes down to how much your freedom is worth to you

But if you talking about throwing away (because this ain’t really what u wanna do deep down) 5 years and still being in your early 20’s
You can put that 5 years into following your dreams and eventually support your kid 10x more abundantly.
You just seem like u don’t really know what u wanna do rn and saying f*** it lemme join the army
But don’t think about now think about how you’ll feel in 10 years. I was actually talking to this chick in the military and she was like yeah it’s solid but it don’t make her happy and she don’t know what she REALLY wanna do.
You gotta deal with your real life and this just a forum where we giving opinions on pieces of a situation. But man I say give it a year to see what you really wanna do in life and then go a year from now if you still wanna do military then go for it. But don’t make a drastic decision at 18 about the next 5+ years of your life bc you panicking about what’s next after high school
38 year old you who feels trapped in his situation regretting not prioritizing his own happiness over what he thought was a solid future will thank you so much. S*** I didn’t even go to military I did school and I wish I just went with my passion for 5 years after high school because at the end of the day if you not happy that s*** gon be like walking thru nails.
op can start a new life w a pretty french girl that's a dream tbh
This ain't ww2 1943

“Deep down you know this isn’t what you want go do”. You talk as if you actually know what I want. You don’t know me. I’m a stubborn person. If this wasn’t what I wanted I wouldn’t be doing it. I’ve been thinking about this for a long time and at this point the pros outweigh the cons. Right now I feel trapped. Like my life is just stuck. I’m tired of being where I am. I’m ready to start a new chapter in my life. I SHOULD be panicking right now. This is a vital point in my life where I can either sit around and do jack s*** or get off my ass, get money, and become a man. If I don’t do this right now while I’m young I’m gonna regret it forever.
I saw people on this KTT 1 all the time who “took a break” after High School. They’re still on here.
Want my advice OP ???
Definitely join because jobs are gonna be harder to come by in the upcoming years , save your money though

Lol whatever you do...just think about THIS moment five years from now. It will either be something you thank yourself for or something you resent yourself for.
