It’s not that superhero hype is dying, it’s just that the mid-tier superhero movies aren’t receiving the praise they used to get

DP3, Batman 2, Thunderbolts, possibly Captain America 4 are going to be hits

We saw like 4-5 mins of him lol how do you know he’s terrible? Cuz you don’t like the way he looks? Can’t judge a performance off that little screen time. It’s stupid.

Superhero movies aren’t going anywhere. I don’t get people’s obsession with trying to completely erase things from existence, but superhero films will always have an audience. Most people complaining are just cherry picking anyway. Most movies out can be criticized the same way. This conversation is actually dumb tbh. Enjoy the things you like. F*** the rest

It is a shame I like those movies but it’s really taken a dip and I think it is for the better cause hopefully they’ll rebound. Highs and lows as with anything else but at least the ones we all still enjoy and love still exist.

It’s not superhero movies in itself that is the issue. The issue is that everything must be a part of an extended universe. Superhero movies is a genre in itself just like action, comedy, thriller etc. look at movies like the Joker. It would had worked even if it wasn’t about him and just a random looney

I want a superhero movie about a mfer that’s one of those child predator catchers but instead of exposing them online or reporting them to the police they kidnap them and torture them in brutal ways to their deaths. The hero thinks he’s doing it because he has some moral and is anti child predators, but that we as viewers see it’s pretty evident he just likes to torture ppl.
