Lot of disabled people in the hood too which is sad
Really? I don't recall seing disabled people, just a lot of people showing side effects from d*** usage
I see a lot more white people taking their dogs out or going on runs
White millenials broke asf, they looking for cheap housing
😒
Yeah but my spot is becoming gentrified.

Cannot wait for the Bronx to be gentrified
If the whole borough was like riverdale the city would be eating so good. Renovate these buildings, get some actual good restaurants and stores up there.
I’m not going back til the Bronx joins civilization

Gentrification is good for the people who can afford to pay rent

Why should they care what you want
Why should they care what you want
They only follow where the money is.
BTW you have a great taste for avys

Where I live yeah, I think because they were on section 8

This is true. But to me I’ll take whatever makes my city greater and safer. If people get priced out then it sucks for them but it is what it is.
The Bronx is a giant stain that needs to be cleaned up. Looks like it’s gonna have to wait til after brooklyn tho
Why should they care what you want
Because if the Bronx becomes more attractive to investors, home owners, businesses, renters, etc then the entire city benefits
Maybe the Bronx could be a place where you could get a decent meal at an actual restaurant instead of little Caesars and McDonald’s.
Even tho places like the concourse are going through the first wave of gentrification it hasn’t meant much because you still have to travel to Manhattan for anything and everything.

Why should anyone in the Bronx care about the city getting more benefits when it won’t benefit the people currently there

The entire city? Or the 1%

A lot of people will be forced to move out and become homeless.
On the other side people might actually get low income jobs, those will be replaced by robots eventually tho
The entire city? Or the 1%
The entire city isn’t populated by the 1% bro. Median individual income is 50k in nyc. In the nicest and safest part of the Bronx median income is 53k.
If we got the whole borough as safe as riverdale we could start bringing real attractions here. Not asking for rent in the Bronx to be $5,000. But if the Bronx can ever become attractive then it’s a MASSIVE win for the city

Use your head cookies. This is the most important city in the country. It’s better if the entire city is attractive for business and homeowners.
We need s*** to exist outside of Manhattan
