Cannot wait for the Bronx to be gentrified
If the whole borough was like riverdale the city would be eating so good. Renovate these buildings, get some actual good restaurants and stores up there.

Gentrification is good for the people who can afford to pay rent
This is true. But to me I’ll take whatever makes my city greater and safer. If people get priced out then it sucks for them but it is what it is.
The Bronx is a giant stain that needs to be cleaned up. Looks like it’s gonna have to wait til after brooklyn tho

Maybe the Bronx could be a place where you could get a decent meal at an actual restaurant instead of little Caesars and McDonald’s.
Even tho places like the concourse are going through the first wave of gentrification it hasn’t meant much because you still have to travel to Manhattan for anything and everything.

The entire city isn’t populated by the 1% bro. Median individual income is 50k in nyc. In the nicest and safest part of the Bronx median income is 53k.
If we got the whole borough as safe as riverdale we could start bringing real attractions here. Not asking for rent in the Bronx to be $5,000. But if the Bronx can ever become attractive then it’s a MASSIVE win for the city
