I'm unsure of anyone else who so frequently creates magical and accurate reflections of the real world in his music that pretty much everyone can connect to and hit the nail on the head literally every time.

    For example...
"Are we still good, are we still good?" - Drake, Jungle.

This line is, in my opinion, Drake's most biting and poignant representation of obsession and simp-attitude. The fact it's so simple yet manages to decisively and cleanly explain everything you experience in a confused and directionless relationship shows his power as a lyricist.

Despite it's simplicity, merely the delivery and repetition is enough for Drake to portray the toxicity he's fallen into toward a woman. It's easily one of the best summations of my experience in love and how I've treated women throughout my years.

Is there anyone as consistently truthful as Drake? I'm starting to think that this line alone could tell my story, and the idea that he has so many exactly like this just shows how poetic he truly is. This is music's best lyricist, ever.

The brevity in that line alone is breathtaking give him a Pulitzer!

Nah no Pulitzer for Drake, he's not the white people favorite!

That line really delves into not only drakes relationship with his girl but also signifies drakes continuing struggle with his faith and in a lot of ways is a broader representation of the everymans relation to America as a whole

Idk about all that but he's definitely gifted when it comes to writing lyrics people can relate to by using common lingo

To be fair, look at the points that my OP emphasizes. I appreciate brevity and the ability to say a lot with the absolute bare minimum. If someone writes a line that I think "Fuck, I could have wrote that!" yet I didn't because I wasn't clever enough, it'll probably blow my f***ing mind. I find that to take more talent than any of the MCs listed.

Every hit songwriter's goal tbh. There has to be a math to achieving this
