Drake is seen as not good enough of a lyricist for the same reason Titanic wasn't seen as a good enough film

Max...I gotta know what techniques he uses. Man the industry is so secretive you have to draw your own conclusions about the techniques

I'm unsure of anyone else who so frequently creates magical and accurate reflections of the real world in his music that pretty much everyone can connect to and hit the nail on the head literally every time.

    For example...
"Are we still good, are we still good?" - Drake, Jungle.

This line is, in my opinion, Drake's most biting and poignant representation of obsession and simp-attitude. The fact it's so simple yet manages to decisively and cleanly explain everything you experience in a confused and directionless relationship shows his power as a lyricist.

Despite it's simplicity, merely the delivery and repetition is enough for Drake to portray the toxicity he's fallen into toward a woman. It's easily one of the best summations of my experience in love and how I've treated women throughout my years.

Is there anyone as consistently truthful as Drake? I'm starting to think that this line alone could tell my story, and the idea that he has so many exactly like this just shows how poetic he truly is. This is music's best lyricist, ever.

Assuming you're serious all the points you have are about his delivery rather than lyrics. Drake has bars but his delivery and strong pop sensibilities have always been a thousand times stronger than his penmanship

I wonder if Drake's "relatable" lyrics would be seen as bland as telling someone "the weather's nice" without the context surrounding the lyrics tho

That line really delves into not only drakes relationship with his girl but also signifies drakes continuing struggle with his faith and in a lot of ways is a broader representation of the everymans relation to America as a whole
