OP, you should consider meeting with a speech therapist first to realize what the issue is at hand
Also to answer @bernieX question
I asked my dentist about my speech problem and she didn’t think that anything was off about my bite (also told me I might simply just need to see a speech specialist)
Either way I’m setting an appointment tomorrow to do further diagnosis and see what the cause is
Oh u don’t have insurance
Are you sure the only way your speech impediment can be worked on is thru getting braces?
I do have insurance but idk if they’ll cover this specific treatment

Yeah my bad I read op wrong
S*** good luck bro, update the thread after your appointment
If you went to another country, wouldn’t you still have to pay for the adjustments every month? Or is that included in the 5k?
I got invisalign for 1.3k instead of 5k cause of work insurances
they’re only annoying for the first couple weeks then you get used to them
Know a girl who's bad as f*** and wears braces
Uzi wears em too, maybe you can also pull it off

cant believe ppl itt prefer braces over invisalign
Honestly depends what kind of issue you got. Deeper issues prolly won’t be fixed by Invisalign so you’d need braces

How are they annoying?
What’s the daily process like if you don’t mind me asking
I should be starting in a week or two
I know there are ceramic braces. Basically like normal braces only they blend in really well with your teeth. I don't know how much more expensive they are and their availability
I know it's easy for me to say but you shouldn't feel bad about wearing braces . 22 is still young asf and it would be 100% worth it. My friend was wearing braces that age and beyond the initial reaction we really didn't say s*** to him. I respect anyone taking steps to better themselves
I had braces for a longgggg time, I got them off last year, but it did have some results. My teeth is not fully straight yet, but maybe when I get some Invisaligns, it will be all fixed up.
I say get some braces to have some results, and if it's straight enough, then take it off. If it's not straight enough, get some invisaligns

so there's no pain at all, it's more so the lifestyle change that's annoying. Every time you eat, you'll need to take them off, eat, brush your teeth, and then put them back on. As a result, you find yourself not wanting to snack as much as you can't be bothered with brushing your teeth again (which can be a good thing I guess).
truly worth it though

Oh f***
So I’m going to have to carry a tooth brush and tooth paste with me every time I go out to eat? Or I would just have to choose not to wear them those days

yea yup
I bought a small pouch with a mini toothpaste, mini brushes, mini water bottle, etc. that I just leave in my whip
I mean you could but you're suppose to wear them 21/22 hours per day so that it does not screw up your scheduled alignments
I’m 22 (I know I’m a grown ass dude) but I have a feeling that I’d need braces due to speech impediment, like I almost talk the same way Michael Phelps does (Got narrow smile too)
But looking at the options here is costs AT LEAST $5,000 and apparently the insurance doesn’t cover these type of stuff for adults
I’m thinking about going to place like Turkey or Iran for this type of treatment as it’s much cheaper there but idk if they’ll transfer the maintenance work over to the doctors here in the states
What y’all think?
Finance them and pay em out monthly.
That’s what I did
Crooked teeth is
Get braces they are worth it
Actually 95% of my teeth is straight, I just have like a narrow teeth structure. It might require a surgery tho
I had Invisalign but I feel like braces actually give better results
they definitely do
